About the GALA  |  GALA Tickets  |  GALA FAQs

Q: What is the purpose of the Gala?
A: The Gala is our local party’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the event enable us to respond to the needs of this challenging time in history. Funds stay right here in DuPage County to do the essential work for the long haul. The Gala is also a chance to come together as a community to celebrate our shared Democratic values and unite.

Q: Who attends this event? Is this event just for “political insiders”?
A: The Gala attracts a diverse crowd of attendees. Some attendees have been DuPage Democratic Party members for decades, while many hold no membership card or are attending their first Gala this year. Community organizers, local party leaders, students, elected officials, business leaders, established coalitions, and newly formed grassroots groups are all represented at the Gala. If you have a desire to celebrate our shared Democratic values, and connect with other local Democrats, the Gala will be an inspiring evening for you.

Q: Who is the Keynote Speaker?

Q: What other Democratic leaders will be at the Gala?
A: The GALA always draws amazing Democratic elected officials, candidates and leaders from throughout the State. Watch here for a full list of those attending.

A: If you purchase an individual ticket, there is not open seating. Everyone will be placed and their table number can be found on their name tag which check in will point out to them.

A: We offer several levels of group table sponsorships. Details above

A: In addition to table sponsorships, we also have advertising space for sale in our program. This is a great way to get your message out to hundreds of local Democrats. Email for remaining options.

A: “Black-tie” optional is suggested for the Gala. Typically, black tie optional attire refers to a dark suit, long dresses, or short but elegant cocktail dresses. Overall, your preferred formal attire will be fantastic!
