The NRA works hard to flood our communities with firearms and fosters a “guns everywhere” culture that encourages people to pick up a gun every chance they get, whether for sport or supposed self-defense. With more than 300 million guns in circulation  in the United States and a “guns everywhere” culture, it’s no wonder 100,000 Americans are injured or killed with guns every year. 
American businesses that serve families and communities, especially an iconic brand like FedEx, should have no part in helping to perpetuate even more gun sales and lethal gun culture. But FedEx is in the NRA Business Alliance. This is not okay.

As a member of the National Rifle Association’s Business Alliance, FedEx grants discounts of up to 26 percent for NRA members,  a generous perk that encourages people to join the NRA and adopt its gun culture, building the organization’s power.
In 2016, FedEx was #58 on the Fortune 500 list of companies, with revenues exceeding $50 billion.  As an economic powerhouse, and as an iconic American brand, FedEx needs to cut its NRA ties and send a message to the gun lobby and reassure the communities it serves that it does not condone the NRA’s extremist agenda.

The National Rifle Association is the most powerful corporate lobbying group in America. It accepts millions of dollars from gun manufacturers every year to advance an extremist pro-“guns everywhere” gun agenda while presenting itself as a grassroots organization for gun owners. FedEx helps to support this by being part of the NRA Business Alliance and offering members discounts. The NRA right now is working to eliminate gun-free zones at schools and houses of worship, gutting criminal background checks for gun sales, and getting rid of all permitting requirements for people who want to conceal-carry their weapons,  among other things.
FedEx should not have any part in building the NRA’s membership and advancing its lethal agenda.
We’ll send the message and your signature directly to FedEx’s executive leadership to let them know how disappointed we are in FedEx’s affiliation with the NRA!
